How the Funding Matcher works

Each funding type has its own minimums. Net-30 vendor accounts only need a registered company and an EIN. Bank lines of credit and SBA 7(a) loans usually want two years in business, steady revenue and a personal credit score in the mid 600s or better. We check your answers against those rules and sort every type into fits now, close, or later.

For the types that fit, we name a few lenders and vendors from our own lists: the Business Credit and Lending Directory (Levels 1 to 4), the Backyard Banks repository, which shows the personal bureau each bank pulls, our SBA lender list by state and our microlender list. The full lists are in the FREE Business Training resources in your free dashboard.

Questions people ask

Does the Funding Matcher pull my credit?

No. It only uses the answers you give. Nothing is sent to a bureau or a lender.

Will I be approved if a funding type says it fits?

Not necessarily. A fit means your answers meet the usual minimums for that type. Every lender makes its own decision, and results vary.

Why does the order of applications matter?

Business credit is built in levels. Vendor accounts report first, store and fleet accounts follow about 45 days later, and bank products look for that history. Spacing applications and spreading them across bureaus also keeps inquiries down.

What does it cost?

The Funding Matcher is free. If you want help with the steps in your report, our build-out packages and the Business Credit Accelerator Program are optional.
